Tex. Occ. Code ch. 952 restricts LRS certification to government or 501(c)(3)/(4)/(6) nonprofit entities; a for-profit entity cannot become a certified lawyer referral service. Tex. Disciplinary R. 7.03 restricts fee-sharing for referrals to a qualified lawyer referral service. See also Tex.
